Brenham, Texas, [January 16, 2019] – The REM Research Group expands its capabilities to include custom development and manufacturing of process aids for use with REM’s technologies—the ISF® Process, the Rapid ISF® Process, and the Extreme ISF® Process.  REM has a team of dedicated engineers with over two decades of experience skilled in designing and creating custom process aids.  REM’s in-house design and manufacturing capabilities offer a rapid turnaround time on both prototype and production process aids.  Process aids are available for use with customer installations as well as for outsourced contract services work at one of REM’s sites.  REM also can maintain process aid inventories for its customers to ensure there is never a significant downtime incident. “These new capabilities allow REM to improve part loading, reduce cycle times, improve part handling, and overall improve our process repeatability,” Vincent Cline of REM Research Group said. “In the last couple of years, REM has been making investments in adding manufacturing capabilities in-house so we can rapidly respond to our customers’ needs and our internal testing and processing needs.”  REM starts out 2019 with a brand new HAAS ST lathe as our most recent investment in continuing to expand manufacturing capabilities and product offerings, improve lead times and production throughput, and keep production costs to a minimum.  “We want to provide the best service to our customers,” Vincent Cline of REM Research Group said, “our advancements and investments in R&D engineering and manufacturing are giving us the tools to do exactly that.”
